At the Baselworld 2015, Italian Luxury Brand – Bulgari took the wraps off a luxury smartwatch – the Diagono Magnesium concept watch. The company didn’t highlight much of the technical specs, the pricing and the release date.
The Bulgari Bulgari Diagono Magnesium concept watch is being marketed as the world’s first complete opposite of everything the world of so-called connected watches is able to offer. It is 100% swiss, NFC-Enabled and makes use of an electronic protected passport called Luxury Wrist Vault – which is developed in partnership with Swiss WISeKey, a company which focuses on high digital security and sensitive data storage.
The luxury watch/smartwatch itself is described as a self winding mechanical watch – whatever that is overall the watch is a beauty to behold. Thanks to the Luxury Wrist Vault the watch can perform functions such as Starting your car engine in the morning, logging in securely to a digital community (maybe social media and the likes), getting exclusive acess to VIP lounges, making payments, opening doors and lots more.
Hopefully, we won’t have to wait long for the Diagono Magnesium concept watch from Bulgari to be a reality soon. In the meantime feast your eyes on the promotional video released by the company.
