Gionee has announced its first ‘Made in India’ smartphone – the Gionee F103L. The device is manufactured by Foxconn (and will band is available in Black, Dawn White and Pearl White colour options for Rs 9999 ($154).
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Amigo UI 3.1, the Gionee F103L sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Asaahi Dragontrail glass protection. Under the hood lies a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB naticve storage space.
The main camera is a 8MP f/2.2 AutoFocus camera with LED flash, the front camera is a 5MP f/2.4 camera for selfies and video chats. For additional storage there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Connectivity options on the Gionee F103L includes – 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, GPS, Bluetooth.4.0 and W-fI 802.11 b/g/n.
Measuring 146 x 70.3 x 7.95mm in dimensions, the Gionee F103L has Dual SIM slots with dual standby, and is backed by a 2400mAh battery.
