At the Just concluded Comic-Con 2018 in San Diego, Sony teamed up with Marvel and Insomniac Games to unveil the Limited Edition Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 Pro Bundle. This special model will launch alongside the highly anticipated Spider-Man game by Insomniac on September 7.
The limited edition bundle includes a 1TB HDD PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro) fully customised in Amazing Red colour and the front boldly inscribed with the iconic Spider icon, along with matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, Marvel’s Spider-Man game (Blu-ray Disc) and digital content.

According to Sony, 4K TV owners will be able to experience the game in “2160p dynamic 4K resolution achieved through temporal injection”. Those with HD TV will enjoy better image clarity through super sampling while HDR TV owners can experience the game in high-dynamic range colour (HDR). The vertical stand, as expected, will be sold separately.

The Limited Edition Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 Pro Bundle is already open for pre-orders and will be available across the U.S. and Canada for 399.99 USD (MSRP) / $499.99 CAD (MSRP). In Australia, it is expected to be priced at AUD $659.95 since the regular 1TB PS4 cost around AUD $549.95.

I’m torn – I love Spiderman, but this console is ugly as sin. I can’t believe this actually got approved for production. They could’ve done so much better than this, but they chose to go with “all red with the logo on top”. So lazy.
