Maxx Mobiles has announced a new smartphone; the smartphone is available from online retailers for Rs 3890 ($65 / N11,000 in Naira).
The Maxx AXD11 GenxDroid7 features a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display, a pixel density of 233ppi, powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor, 512MB of RAM, 3.2MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, front facing VGA camera, 4GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot for expansion. Along with the storage options the company is also offering free 16GB microSD card.
Connectivity options on the Maxx AXD11 GenxDroid7 includes EDGE/GPRS, 3G, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS and Wi-Fi. The device measures 122.3 x 62.3 x 10.4mm, weighs 71.1 grams and a 1400mAh Li-ion battery. It supports Dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) functionality and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS; which the company claims would be upgradeable up to Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The device would come pre-loaded with MaxxWorld, Maxx life Box, Maxx Care, Maxx New Launch features.
The company launched its first Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone, the AXD21 MSD7 Smarty in July. The device features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels), a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572M) processor, 512MB of RAM, a 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera, 4GB of ROM, microSD card slot, and a 1450mAh battery.
