Maxx Mobiles has launched its first smartphone running on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, the Maxx AXD21 MSD7 Smarty. The budget device is available exclusively on Snapdeal for Rs 4,020 (around N11,000 in Naira).
Over the past few weeks, day after day we get to see Android 4.4 kitkat smartphones launched in India at affordable prices. The Indian market as a result is saturated with different offering that users would find it harder to make choices.
The Maxx AXD21 MSD7 Smarty features a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) capactive touchscreen, powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572M) processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card, and the phone comes bundled with a 16GB microSD card). On the rear is a 3.2MP rear camera and a front facing VGA camera.
The Maxx AXD21 MSD7 Smarty measures 125.3 x 63.8 x 10.1mm, weighs 109.3grams, Dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) functionality, and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 1450mAh battery which provides 150hours of standby time and 4hours of talktime.
Connectivity options on the Maxx AXD21 MSD7 Smarty includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, micro USB, GPRS/EDGE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
