At an event in Milan, Mediacom announced a new Windows 10 Convertible with Intel CPU under the hood and designed to offer maximum versatility and flexibility. The Mediacom FlexBook is available in Europe (precisely the Italian market) for a price tag of EUR 229.
The Yoga-Like Mediacom FlexBook 130 embodies the virtues of a notebook and tablet; and the 360-degree hinge ensures it can be used in these four modes – Laptop, Stand, Tablet and Tent. It sports a 13.3-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and is backed by a sizeable 9600mAh Li-Polymer battery which should last some hours of usage.
The Windows 10 Home (64-bit) running convertible relies on an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.44GHz (clocked up to 1.84GHz) along with 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in expandable storage space. It is equipped with a microSD card slot, 2-Megapixels Webcam, microphones and speakers.
In terms of connectivity, the Mediacom FlexBook 130 uses Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. It measures 363 mm x 220 mm x 20 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 1.2 kilograms and will go on sale by the fourth week of July.
