Mediacom has announced a new budget 4G smartphone – the Mediacom PhonePad Duo S532U (Mediacom PhonePad S532U) in Italy. The device sports an aluminium metal body frame, 5.3-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD IPS multitouch Li-ion display with 2.5D glass and backed by a 2600mAh battery.
Under the hood, the Mediacom PhonePad Duo S532U relies on a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3GHz and boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera with Flash for low-light conditions.
It measures 146 x 73 x 8.4 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 156 grams, packs Dual SIM slots (Standard + Micro) and 16GB built-in storage space which is expandable up to 32GB. Connectivity options onboard includes – 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Hi-speed micro USB 2.0 and GPS/A-GPS.
Priced at EUR 159.90, the Mediacom PhonePad Duo S532U packs 2GB of RAM and six months of free video-on-demand (VOD) services on the pre-installed Infinity app. The company is also releasing the Mediacom PhonePad Duo S532U Lite (Mediacom PhonePad S532U Lite) with 1GB of RAM and 3G for EUR 119.90.
