Mediacom Phonepad Duo X530U 4G with 5-inch HD screen, 3GB RAM and Android 5.1

Mediacom has announced the Mediacom Phonepad Duo X530U 4G in Europe. The 5-inch sized device will go on sale by the end of November in Italy for a price tag of EUR 209.90 (including VAT) in Blue, Gold and Silver colours. An elegant transparent hard case is also being offered for EUR 9.90.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Mediacom Phonepad Duo X530U 4G sports a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS LCD display, powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 3GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. 

The device has a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies, a front facing 13-megapixels camera with LED flash and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB v2.0, GPS/GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack and 4G LTE.  

The Mediacom Phonepad Duo X530U 4G measures 142.4 x 71.2 x 6.95 mm in dimensions, weighs 145 grams in size, has a Dual SIM slot (micro + Nano SIM) and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The whole shebang is backed by a 2350mAh Lithium-ion battery and there are several apps pre-loaded on the device including Kaspersky Internet Security for protection of the device and it’s content against threats locally and on the internet.
