Following up the successful release of the Smartbook S140, Mediacom has announced the Mediacom Smartbook 14 Ultra to broaden the company’s Smartbook line. The Windows 10 OS notebook is equipped with an Intel CherryTrail processor and will be available later this July in Italy for a price tag of EUR 229 (VAT inclusive).
Backed by a sizeable 10,000mAh Lithium-ion battery which guarantees considerable number of hours of usage; the Mediacom SmartBook 14 Ultra sports a 14-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS touchscreen display and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor clocked at 1.44GHz (up to 1.84GHz in turbo mode) paired along with 2GB of RAM.
The notebook has 32GB built-in storage space or 64GB for the education version; either of the storage options is expandable up to 128GB via the microSD card slot. Asides Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, it also has Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, integrated microphone and speakers.
There is an integrated 2.0-megapixel webcam camera for video chats and skype video calls. The Mediacom SmartBook 14 Ultra has slim metal build in Purple-Grey colour and runs Windows 10 Home OS.
