Mediacom has announced a new tablet, the Mediacom SmartPad 10.1 HD iPro111 3G which as the name suggests supports 3G connectivity and runs Android Lollipop OS. The tablet is available in Europe for €209.90 (VAT inclusive) by the second half of October. Other perks are attached too.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Mediacom SmartPad 10.1 HD iPro111 3G has a 10.1-inch IPS LCD OGS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (Full HD) and a decent wide viewing angle. The device is powered by an Intel processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space.
The slate has two cameras – a 5MP rear facing one and a front facing 2MP one; for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. Connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS, micro USB 2.0 and has a single SIM slot for cellular connectivity (3G).
The Mediacom SmartPad 10.1 HD iPro111 3G measures 256.5 x 82 x 16mm in dimensions, weighs 466 grams and is backed by a 6800mAh Lithium-ion battery. It comes pre-loaded with Microsoft service and apps such as OneDrive, OneNote and Office; and Kaspersky Internet Securit for the obvious reasons.
