Taiwanese Chipset Maker, MediaTek has announced its latest MT6795, the world’s first 64-bit True Octa-Core 4G LTE enabled chip as well support for 2K display. MediaTek is looking to debut in high end smartphone after being predominantly associated with low-end and mid-range devices.
The MediaTek MT6795 is the latest chip from the company and offers the best of features the company can offer. The chip uses a 8ARM Cortex-A53, 64-Bit Cores which clocks at 2.2GHz, supports MediaTek’s Pilot technology for HMP (Heterogeneous Multi-Processing).
The chip offers 2K display with (2560 x 1600 pixels), Slow Motion video feature, Dual-channel LPDDR3 memory clocked at 933MHz, 4G LTE support, support for 20MP camera.

According to the Taiwanese Chip maker, smartphones and devices powered by the MediaTek MT6795 Soc would be available commercially by the end of 2014.
