Airtel has unleashed the Airtel UnlimiNet Data bundle which lets you continue browsing even after your bundle is exhausted. The new data bundle was announced at the company’s Banana Island office in Lagos which had top officials from the company in attendance and also Popular Rap Artiste/Airtel smart Icon – Phyno (Chibuzo Azubuike).
The Airtel UnlimiNet data bundle addresses the need of customers in the aspects of voice calls, text messages and data. Once you have decided to opt-in already, you will be able to access your social networks accounts on Twitter, Instagram, BBM, Facebook, Whatsapp, Yahoo, Google+, Skype, Linkedin, Gmail and more even your data runs out.
Also, you will enjoy normal allowance, On Net SMS, Off Net SMS, Voice minutes usable during the day and Voice minutes which is usable at night between 11pm and 6am.
To subscribe (opt-in) to Airtel UnlimiNet you can simply dial *489# from their Airtel phones and select the desired bundle. The UnlimiNet data bundle is available in four different options – the daily, weekly, monthly and monthly max options.
The Airtel UnlimiNet daily option (*489*1# or send U200 to 489) allows customers to be able to enjoy 10MB data, 3 minutes of voice calls and 3 SMS messages bonus on recharges of N200 daily. The weekly option (*489*2# or send U600 to 489) allows customers enjoy 60MB data, 60 minutes of voice calls and 25 SMS messages bonus on recharges of N600 weekly.
The monthly option (*489*3# or send U3000 to 489) allows customers enjoy 1GB data, 180 minutes of voice calls and 100 SMS messages bonus on recharges of N3000 monthly and the monthly max option (*489*4# or send U5000 to 489) allows customers enjoy 3GB data, 200 minutes and 100 SMS bonus on recharges of N5000 monthly.
To opt-out of the Airtel UnlimiNet data bundle after subscription – send a SMS containing STOP to 489 or dial *489*100#; while to check the status of the bundle customers are advised to dial *489# and press 1 to check.
