The word Vuya is an isiXhosa word which mean ‘Be happy’ in South Africa, the tablet is expected to bring happiness to users who need it most.
The Millbug Vuya tablet is 7-inch a Wi-Fi only Tablet which runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. And can be charged via Solar, via USB and via electricity. The device features a 7-inch HD screen, powered by a 1.2GHZ processor (unnamed chipset), 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via micro SD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm Audio jack.
Millbug is a Port Elizabeth based e-commerce company founded in 2012 and sold fashionable women clothing to millenials. Millbug was founded by South African duo Sabelo Sibanda and Thulisile Volwana. Millbug Technology also comprises of a in-house team of app developers which also provides custom apps for the device.
