Oukitel has announced its next flagship will be the Oukitel U13 Pro. According to sources, the phablet-sized device will be made completely out of metal and the specs will rank in the high mid-range category in what the likes of Samsung, Sony and HTC offer in the market.
The Oukitel U13 Pro sports a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and a pixel density of 401ppi. It packs 3GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage space and is planned to arrive in four colour options – Champagne Gold, Dark Grey, Rose Gold and Silver.
The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor which is rumoured to be either the widely used aged Mediatek MT6753 or the relatively newer Helio P10 SoC. In the camera aspect, there is a rear facing 16 megapixels camera with LED flash and front facing 13 megapixels camera for selfies and video chatss.
The Fingerprint scanner on the Oukitel U13 Pro sits below the main camera on the rear and an Infrared Sensor is also on-board. The device is expected to arrive in the middle of August and the price tag is US$ 199.99.
PS: Oukitel is very notorious for releasing early information about upcoming devices which may never or hit make the market so late. An example is the Oukitel U10.
