Meitu, one of the fairly known brands from China, has a new smartphone called the Meitu M6. Known for unconventional designs and sometimes specs, the new smartphone follows the same trend with the same front and rear cameras. China Telecom is selling for a price tag of CNY 2699 (USD 412).
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with the company’s MEIOS 3.0 ontop, the Meitu M6 sports a 5-inch AMOLED display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resulting in a pixel density of 441ppi. It is backed by a built-in 2900mAh battery.
One of the highlights of the Meitu smartphones is the cameras onboard; the M6 sports a rear facing 21MP AutoFocus camera with Dual LED flash and a front facing 21MP camera for selfies. The fingerprint sensor is embedded into the round home button on the front to enhance security.
On the inside, the Meitu M6 relies on the octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755 processor clocked at 2.0GHz with 3GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage space. Connectivity options onboard includes – 4G LTE (Cat.6), USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.1 and Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/gn/ac.
