Chinese smartphone brand, Meitu (not to be confused with Meizu) has updated its M smartphone series line-up with the Meitu M6s. As is the norm, the device use the familiar hexagonal (6-sided) body shape and has a large capacity camera with enhanced Selfie (self-portrait) function.
The Meitu M6s sports a 5-inch AMOLED display, 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD screen resolution and a pixel density of 441 ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755) 64-bit processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with 4GB of RAM.
The front facing 21MP camera is one of the highlights of this device and there are few devices in the market which can match this resolution. The rear camera also has the same camera resolution. It has a Single Nano SIM slot, 64GB built-in storage space and equipped with the reversible USB Type-C port.
Sporting a fingerprint sensor in the home button, the Meitu M6s supports 4G LTE Cat.6 & LTE-A networks, boots MEIOS 3.3 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and banks on a 2900mAh battery (non-removable). It will arrive in Cherry Red, Light Green and Moonlight White colour options for a price tag of CNY 2399 (US$ 345).
