On the launch of the Meitu M6 with 21MP front facing camera; Meitu also announced a refreshed version of the Meitu V4 called the Meitu V4s. The standard version of the premium smartphone with non-leather back costs CNY 3499 (USD 538) while the elegant version costs CNY 4399 (USD 676).
Having the company’s unconventional rhombus design, the Meitu V4s has an aluminium body frame and calfskin leather on the back for the costlier elegant model. It sports a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display and is backed by a non-removable 2650mAh Li-Po battery.
Under the hood powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 64-bit processor (MT6795) clocked at 2.0GHz with 3GB of RAM and a massive 128GB built-in storage which we won’t have to mind since it is non-expandable. The front and rear cameras are a 21MP camera with Sony Exmor RS IMX230, dual-color LED flash, f /2.2 aperture and sapphire lens protect.
The Meitu V4s supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks, NFC, as well as standard connectivity -Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. It measures 152.4 x 68.8 x 8.9 mm in dimensions, weighs 145 grams and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s MeiOS expected on top.
