Along with the launch of the Meizu Pro 6 Plus and Meizu M3X, the company also announced release of the Meizu Flyme OS 6 – its largest software update till date. With emphasis on the ‘Make 6 Great Again’, the Meizu Flyme OS 6 update is believed to be based on Android Marshmallow OS and arrives with Meizu’s in-house artificial intelligence engine – One Mind.
The update also focuses on privacy and security, allowing the user set up three modes of security (normal, guest and privacy) when unlocking the device as well as over 400 new features features including the upgrade in payment security and increase in payment support platforms.
While development begun sometime last year (about 430 days ago), the update will be available to the following smartphones listed:

- Meizu MX4,
- Meizu M3 Max,
- Meizu M3 Note,

- Meizu U10
To receive the Meizu Flyme OS 6 update, compatible phone users can sign up for the closed beta program which is already on in China. The official beta version will be available starting December 30th. No details on global roll-out yet.
