Meizu has a press event scheduled for June 2 which will take pace at the Beijing Exhibition Center National Convention Centre and the company is expected to announce new devices. One of such device is the Meizu MI Note (Blue Charm Note) successor – the Meizu M2 Note or the Meizu M1 Note 2.
Based on a tip off gotten from Weibo, the Meizu M2 Note or M1 Note 2 is expected to be announced at the event but much is not known about the device in terms of specs. It is expected to run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Flyme OS ontop and has a Physical Home Button as seen in the image below.
While the Meizu M2 Note has been compared side by side with the Meizu MX4 Pro in the picture; the latter has a fingerprint scanner integrated into its Physical Home Button, the former has no fingerprint scanner integrated.
Even though the, the 5.5-inch sized M1 Note looked very iPhone 5C alike; the device settled well in the phablet ecosystem with its higher midrange specs. We will have to wait out the few days remaining till the expected launch date to know more.
Meizu has also announced the M1 Note would be available in India from Amazon India starting 2pm on May 20th. The device won’t be sold through a series of flash sales therefore no need for pre-registering.
