Meizu M2 Specs Confirmed by Chinese Regulatory Agency Listing

Meizu just recently announced the Meizu M2 Note the successor to the M1 Note, so it also natural to have the successor to the Meizu M1, the Meizu M2 in the works.

The yet-to-be announced Meizu M2 has paid a visit to the Chinese regulatory agency, TENAA and as expected the device is already certified for the market. When a device visits the regulatory agency, some of the technical specs details of the device are listed along. This case is no different as we have seen some of the Meizu M2 Specs details to expect. 

The Meizu M2 (Meizu M578C) is expected to feature a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) TFT HD display and takes its design cue from the Meizu M2 Note but in terms of size it is smaller. The power button can be located on the right hand side of the device and the physical home button is obvious below the display. 

Under the hood, it powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM to coordinate tasks. There is no word on the total internal storage space but it is expected to carry on the microSD card slot from its predecessor. 

The device runs Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS and supports 4G LTE connectivity as well as other standard connectivity suite. The rest of the Meizu M2 Specs includes – Dual SIM Dual Standby with 4G LTE, 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video chats, 13MP rear camera, weighs 129 grams, measures 140.1 x 68.9 x 8.7mm in dimensions and is backed by a 2700mAh battery.

The Meizu M2 is expected to go official at the company’s event scheduled for the end of June (June 30) and it could be accompanied by the company’s next flagship device – the Meizu MX5. Information about pricing and availability would available on launch.
