Along with its new M6 budget smartphone, Meizu also announced the Meizu M20 Power Bank. The new accessory keeps the same 10,000mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery capacity found on the Meizu M8 and M10, and supports two-way fast charging.
The Meizu M20 features a single micro USB port, standard USB port, power button and 4 LED lights that indicate charge level. The output port delivers 24W (5-6V/3A, 6-9V/2.6A, 9-12V/2A), up from 18W found on its predecessor while the input port supports 18W fast charge (5-9V/2A and 9-12V/1.5A).
Acording to Meizu, the M20 is expected to deliver up to 93% conversion rate and charge fully in 3.5 hours using a fast charger. It also comes with up to 11 stages of protection including against short circuit, overvoltage, overcharging, overcurrent and temperature.
The Meizu M20 Power Bank will go on sale in China starting September 24 in Blue, Green, Grey and Red colours. It is priced at CNY 169 (US$ 26) and slightly lower at CNY 149 (US$ 23) when purchased along with the Meizu M6.
