Meizu M3E Debuts with FHD display, Metal Unibody and 3100mAh Battery

After weeks of leaks and speculation, the Meizu M3E was announced earlier today at an event in China. The device which was earlier tipped to be the Meizu M1E, packs a fingerprint sensor and sports a sandblasted metal unibody reminiscent of the M3 Note and also takes design cue from the iPhone 6s.

Need I say, the Meizu M3E is near similar to the Meizu M3 Note in terms of the specifications and design. It runs YunOS with the company’s Flyme UI ontop, supports 4G LTE networks, Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and is also equipped with the mTouch 2.1 home button/fingerprint sensor with 0.2s unlock time.

The phablet is backed by a 3100mAh battery (non-removable) with Meizu’s proprietary mCharge quick charging solution. The M3E will arrive in Blue, Gold, Gray, Silver and Rose Gold (looks more like Pink) colour options and will sell in China for a price tag starting at CNY 1299 (US$ 195). Pre-orders begin today and sales kick-off on August 14th.
