Following the recent launch of the Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus, the Chinese company has started sending out invites for the launch of its new smartphone – the Meizu M6 Note (Blue Charm Note 6). The upcoming device is the confirmed to be the successor to last year’s Meizu M5 Note and will be made official at the Beijing Performing Arts Center on August 23rd.
According to various reports, the Meizu M6 Note (Blue Charm Note 6) will feature the same 5.5-inch IPS LCD display and a large 4,000mAh battery. It would sport a metal unibody, 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) screen resolution and a fingerprint sensor would likely be crammed (or not) into the home button.
To ensure a better all-round performance than the M5 Note, it would be powered by the Mediatek Helio P25 (MT6757T) octa-core processor with Mali-T880 GPU. The smartphone will arrive in two memory and storage models: a standard version with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage while the higher model will have 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage.
To rival the recently announced Xiaomi Mi 5X, the M6 Note will reportedly feature a dual rear camera setup with the Sony IMX258 sensor present on the main camera. Pricing for the M6 Note stars at CNY 1,599 (US 240).
