For some week now, news about the Meizu MX5 smartphone has been trickling out inform of leaks, spotted images and benchmarks. However today, we have gotten out hands on the bigger brother which would have a 6-inch display compared to 5.5-inches on the other.
The Meizu MX5 Pro has a 6-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) 2K display; would be powered by the Samsung Exynos 7420 processor which is used on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge which makes it the third device to be used on. The chipset would be paired with 4GB of RAM and the oval shaped home button would house a fingerprint sensor.
On the rear, there would be a 20.7MP camera with Sony Sensor and it is expected to run Android Lollipop OS. The battery capacity is tipped at 4000mAh and is expected to last over a day of battery life.
The Meizu MX5 on the other hand is expected to have a 5.5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD display, powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 20MP rear camera and a front facing 5MP camera.
You should know both smartphones are not official yet so there is no confirmation that both devices would conform with the leaked specs. However, both smartphones are expected to be announced anytime in July.
