At a dedicated event in Beijing today, the Meizu MX6 officially made its entrance. The new MX-Series device combines a sleek looking body design and great features like the Meizu Pro 6, but is priced a bit lesser. Registrations open for the device today and sales begin on July 30th.
Priced at CNY 1999 ($299), the Meizu MX6 sports a 7.25 mm thin metal unibody with refined antenna bands and a 5.5-inch Full HD ultra-thin Full Incell screen with TDDI technology from Sharp. It has Dual SIM slots with Voice over LTE and runs. Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Flyme OS 5.2.
The device is equipped with a 64-bit Deca-Core Mediatek Helio X20 processor along with 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage space, 13MP Sony IMX386 camera and a fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 3060mAh battery with high power fast charging and the mCharge technology onboard ensures it goes from 0% to 25% in 10 minutes and fully charged within 75 minutes.

Meizu Loop Jacket
The company also introduced the Meizu Loop Jacket which uses the concept of LG’s Quick Circle Case and is compatible with the Meizu MX6, M3 Note and Pro 6.
The flip case allows users view notifications, recieve calls and control music directly without having to wake the display. It is priced at CNY 99 ($15) and will go on sale along with a special LifeMe Bluetooth speaker that costs CNY 399 ($60).
