The Meizu Note 8 has gone official in China. The mid-tier smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Flyme OS 7 and relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 octa-core mobile platform paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in expandable storage (up to 128GB).
It sports a 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, all-metal body build with discrete antenna design, rear fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM slots, micro USB port and a 3,600mAh battery with support for 18W mCharge fast charging.
For photography, the Meizu Note 8 has the same 12MP (f/1.9) + 5MP dual rear cameras with Dual PD Auto-Focus as the Meizu X8. The notch-less top front houses the 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with support for facial recognition.
Reservations for the Meizu Note 8 has commenced and sales is scheduled to start on November 1. It is priced at CNY 1,298 (US$ 187 or EUR 164) and available in Black, Flame Red, Grey Blue and Smoke Purple colours.
