Meizu NUIX Specs confirmed on Benchmark website; company teases event for September 23rd

Meizu has a new flagship smartphone coming soon, the device known as the Meizu NUIX for now is expected to go official at the company’s event scheduled for September 23rd with the ‘Go Pro’ tag line. 

According to different sources, the Meizu NUIX could end up being Meizu Pro 5, Meizu MX Pro 5 or Meizu ME5. The device which has been confirmed to have a 1080p FHD display will have a rounded edge metal unibody build and the main camera will have Laser AutoFocus and Flash.

Moving to the specs, the Meizu MX Pro 5 or Meizu Pro 5 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display. The device could be powered by two chipset versions – a Mediatek one (Helio X20) and a Samsung Exynos one (Exynos 7420). The chipset is paired with Mali-T760 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM. 

On the back lies a rear facing 21MP camera and the front facing camera is a 5MP snapper. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Meizu Flyme UI ontop and 32GB/64GB native storage space. It is likely the device has a fingerprint embedded into its home button.
