Meizu killed off the MX Pro line for the Pro 5 Phablet this year, the phablet sized device made it debut in September. Less than 3 months after, the Chinese company is expected to launch a mini version – the Meizu Pro 5 Mini soon.
According to the Meizu Pro 5 Mini specs we have, the device will now have a smaller 4.7-inch display compared to 5.7-inch, but the 1080p Full HD resolution stays. The choice of processor is no longer the powerful Exynos 7420 processor but an also powerful deca-core Mediatek Helio X20 processor.
There is no word on the amount of RAM, but we are guessing it would be 2GB or 3GB since the flagship has 4GB of it; the amount of internal storage would be either 32GB or 64GB but bank on Meizu to always include a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
The same metal body build will however be available on the Meizu Pro 5 Mini, the USB Type-C Port should be kept. The device could pack a fingerprint scanner, a battery capacity less or equivalent to 3050mAh with mCharge fast charging technology, support 4G LTE connectivity and possibly run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Flyme 5.0 OS ontop.
The 32GB version should sell for CNY 1999 ($315) while the 64GB version should go for CNY 2499 ($349).
