Meizu has been on a roll of late. The Chinese device maker has released a total of three smartphones (Meizu M3E, U10 and U20) this month and in coming months, we wouldn’t be surprised by more joining up. Next week (September 5), a new device, believed to be the Meizu M3 Max Phablet is expected to join the company’s portfolio.
Sporting a sizeable 6-inch display, the Meizu M3 Max Phablet is promoted using the then-popular Nokia E71 which had a sturdy body and QWERTY keyboard. Although the inspiration behind this is a little bit unclear, the device is housed in a full metal case and the design doesn’t stray away from the company’s accustomed design.
Much of the specs of this device is still unknown, however, it is expected to be powered by the octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 processor with a clock speed up to 2.0GHz and ARM Mali-T860 GPU for graphics. It is possible the chipset is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 32GB build-in storage space.
The front panel of the Meizu M3 Max houses the mTouch home button (oval) which has the fingerprint sensor embedded into it. Also, the main camera is also accompanied with Dual LED flash and a possible price tag of CNY 1799 (US$ 269).
