Wiko has joined in the action too at the MWC 2015 with the announcement of two new smartphone, the Wiko Highway Star 4G and the Wiko Highway Pure 4G. Both smartphones supports 4G LTE networks; LTE Cat.4 which theoretically supports up to 150Mbps.
The Wiko Highway Star 4G. Comes with an aluminium body; it features a 5.1-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion. It is powered by an un-names octa-core chipset which clocks at 1.5GHz and is based on ARM’s cortex-A53 architecture.
Other specs details of the Highway Star 4G includes – 13MP main camera with LED flash, 5MP front camera for selfies, Dual SIM support, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 2450mAh battery. The device measures 141 x 71.4 x 6.6mm and weighs 123grams.
The Wiko Highway Pure 4G on the other hand, is one of the slimmest smartphones around with just 5.1mm thin body. It is also lightweight at just 91grams and runs Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS.
It sports a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED touchscreen display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 410 processor which clocks at 1.2Ghz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage, 2000mAh battery, 8MP main camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera for selfies.
There is no word when both of these smartphones will launch but it is sure expected to be available in regions which readily has LTE networks available. Both devices would be available for the first half of 2015.
