Micromax Bolt A82 with Android 4.4 and 3G connectivity goes official for $88

Indian based OEM, Micromax has released another low-end smartphone for the company’s home market which is India. The Micromax Bolt A82 is another entry to the bolt series of device from Micromax running Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It is available from HomeShop18 for Rs 5499 (~$88) in Grey colour option only.

The Micromax Bolt A82 features a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA capacitive touchscreen display, powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor which clocks at 1.3GHz with 512MB of RAM, 4GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).

There is a 5MP/0.3MP front and rear facing camera combination on the device and as with the norm it comes with Dual SIM functionality (with Dual Standby) and FM Radio. Connectivity options the device includes – 3G, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.

The Micromax Bolt A82 measures 147 x 75 x 9.3mm in dimensions, as mentioned earlier runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 1800mAh battery. Most of the specs are too similar with the Micromax Bolt A069 which went official around July Last year with the inclusion of 3G being the difference. It also comes with support for English and 20 other Indian Regional languages.
