Indian manufacturer, Micromax has listed a new entry-level device online – the Micromax Bolt Q335 is a new entrant in the Bolt series. There is no word on pricing and availability yet but is expected to sell for a sub-$100 price tag and the launch date is not far off.
The Micromax Q335 sport a 4.5-inch display with a FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SCC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 512MB of RAM and 4GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
On the rear there is a 5MP camera with LED, the front camera is a 2MP camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, comes with dual SIM slots and is backed by a 1950mAh battery.
Apps pre-loaded on the Micromax Bolt Q335 includes – Opera Max, Paytm, Quickr, Clean Master, NewsHunt, Askme, Snapdeal, Hotstar, Chaatz, Reverie, Hotstar and Dr. Safety.
