A new smartphone from Micromax; in the Canvas series with a 5-inch 720p HD display, an octa-core processor, dual-SIM funcionality and 3G connectivity support; called the Micromax Canvas 4 Plus A315 has been spotted on e-retail listings.

The device features a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD AMOLED display, powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz with 700MHz Mali 450 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (up to 32GB via microSD card slot). On the rear of the Micromax Canvas 4 Plus A315 is a 13MP autofocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for video chats and selfies.
Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE. The Micromax Canvas 4 Plus A315 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and powered by a 2000mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas 4 Plus A315 is currently available on ebay.in and Infibeam at an online price of Rs Rs. 16,750 ($274). The device is available in White With Gold colour and Black colour options; it is expected to be officially announced in coming weeks.

The device rocks a similar 5.0-inch 720p IPS display, powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor but unlike the former it sports 2GB of RAM. Other features includes – 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 3G HSPA+, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and a 2500mAh.
