Micromax has officially announced the Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G+, successor to the Canvas Blaze 4G released last month. The device is listed already on the company’s website as well as on eBay.in; it is expected to sell for Rs 6199 ($94) in Black colour option only.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G+ Q414 features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit processor clocked at 1GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage space.
In the camera segment, the device has a 2-Megapixels Fixed Focus front facing camera for selfies and a 8-Megapixels AutoFocus rear facing camera with LED flash as the main one. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4). The Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G+ has Dual SIM slots, comes pre-loaded in 10 Indian languages and is backed by a smaller 1750mAh battery.
In comparisons with its predecessor (Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G Q400); the Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G+ has the same display but a Mediatek processor compared to Qualcomm on the former (Snapdragon 210), it now has a 8MP main camera compared to 5MP on the former and the battery has been reduced from 2000mAh to 1750mAh.
