Micromax has a new phablet in the company’s Canvas Doodle 4 series – the Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 which succeeds the Canvas Doodle 3 from last year. The 6-inch sized device is expected to come with a stylus pen.
The Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 features a 6-inch display with the resolution listed varying from different sources. Mahesh Telecom, the Mumbai based retailer says it has a HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) on its facebook page while eBay.in says it has a qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels). The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood is is backed by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). It supports Dual SIM capability, measures 165.5 x 85.3 x 8.5 in dimension and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
On the rear there is a 8MP camera with LED flash and there is a front facing 2MP camera for Selfies, video chats. Connectivity options on the phablet includes – USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G connectivity. Sensor options includes – Gravity Sensor, G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Light Sensor.
The Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 is backed by a 3000mAh battery which is expected to provide up to 160 hours of standby time. It is available on eBay.in for INR 9199 (with a free magnetic flip cover) but the MRP of the device is INR 9499.
