Micromax is looking to release another Android smartphone into the market with the Micromax Canvas Duet AE90, the smartphone has not been officially announced but has been listed on two different e-commerce website – Infibeam and eBay.in for Rs 8,999 (around N25, 000 in Naira) and Rs 9,299 (around N26,000 in Naira) respectively.
Micromax Canvas Duet AE90
The Micromax Canvas Duet AE90 features a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with unknown chipset, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card. On the rear is a 5MP Autofocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 0.3MP camera for video calling.
The Micromax Canvas Duet AE90 runs on the dated Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and powered by a 1800mAh battery which provides 6hours of talktime. Connectivity options on the Dual-SIM (GSM + CDMA) Micromax Canvas Duet AE90 includes 3G, GPRS, GPS, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, micro-USB, 3.5mm Audio Jack.
While we await the official announcement, we expect the price to be slashed as the Micromax Unite 2 is cheaper but runs on the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
