Micromax has added a new smartphone to the low-end Canvas fire series of devices. The Micromax Canvas Fire 3 A096 doesn’t really come with any interesting specs; it is available on Saholic for INR 6499 in Black colour option only.
The Micromax Canvas Fire 3 A096 sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resoution of 960 x 540 pixels (qHD) and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with ARM Mali-400 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space.
For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). On the rear, there is a 5-megapixels camera with LED flash and on the front, a 2-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats . Connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G HSPA+ and Wi-Fi 802.11n.
The device comes with Dual SIM support, FM Radio and has Dual front speakers. The Micromax Canvas Fire 3 is backed by a 1850mAh battery which can only last under a day of straight usage and boots Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box.
It comes pre-loaded with apps such as – Clean master, True Caller, Opera, Dr Safety, Snapdeal, Hike, Trending apps, Saavn, start app and others.
