Micromax has added a new smartphone to its Canvas Fire series range; the Micromax Canvas Fire 4 smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, has dual front speakers and Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo DAC (WM8918) digital analogue converter which would see it offer one of the best audio around.
The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, there is a 1.3GH quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot on-board which helps increse storage up to 32GB more.
The camera combination on the device includes 8MP/2MP main and front cameras. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G HSPA+ and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It supports Dual SIM functionality and is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 comes pre-loaded with different ranges of apps – Saavn, Ask me, Chaatz, Newshunt, Paytm, Clean Master, App Center, Quickr, MAD, Dr. safety, Snapdeal and others. The Canvas Fire 4 costs Rs 6999; available in online and offline stores starting today (2nd March 2015) in Silver and Black colour options.
