One of India’s largest smartphone maker, Micromax has announced the latest smartphone from the company in its Canvas series – the Micromax Canvas Hue. The device does not support 4G LTE but comes with a power packed 3000mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Hue features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and it is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The device comes with Dual SIM support and supports 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity options. On the rear of the Micromax Canvas Hue is a 8MP camera with LED flash, a front 2MP camera, in-built FM Radio and the aforementioned 3000mAh battery rounds up the specs.
It is expected to be available starting January 16 for RS 10,999 ($176) in White and Gold colour options.
