Micromax has officially announced the Micromax Canvas Juice 3+ and the recently selling Micromax Canvas Juice 3. Both new device in the Canvas Juice series have an ample battery capacity as well as lower midrange specs.
With the Micromax Canvas Juice 3 already detailed, the focus will be on the phablet sized Canvas Juice 3+. It sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
Handling photography on the device is a 8MP main camera with LED flash and is supported by a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. The Micromax Canvas Juice 3+ supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS and 3G but no 4G LTE support.
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, the Micromax Canvas Juice 3+ is backed by a 4000mAh battery that provides up to 8 hours of talktime on 3G, 12 hours of talktime on 2G and up to 500 hours of standby time.
Both the Micromax Canvas Juice 3 and Micromax Canvas Juice 3+ share the same design, features but the plus obviously means there should be differences. For comparison sake, the Canvas Juice 3 has a 5-inch display, front facing 2MP camera, and has 8GB internal storage space.
The Canvas Juice 3 is already selling for Rs 8999 in silver colour option only through offline and online platforms while the Canvas Juice 3+ will start selling by the end of September in the same colour and through the same medium for a price yet to be announced.
