Micromax has announced that the Micromax Canvas LapTab will now ship pre-loaded with Windows 10 OS; the hybrid tablet was announced back in April running Windows 8.1 but all other specs remain the same including the built-in 3G SIM support.
The Micromax Canvas Laptab is priced at Rs 14999 ($226) in Black colour option and is selling on Amazon.in as well as other retail stores across India. Just like most hybrid (or 2-in-1) tablets around, it has a detachable keyboard which lets it double as a laptop when needed.
Moving to the specs, the Canvas Laptab sports a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor clocked at 1.33GHz (burst up to 1.86GHz) with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space.
Users will get up to 1TB of Microsoft Cloud storage and there is microSD card slot for storage expansion. The slate has a 2MP fixed focus front and rear facing cameras; supports Bluetooth 4.0, USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and 3G connectivity via a Single SIM slot.
The Micromax Canvas Laptab measures 210.8 x124.2 x 9.95mm in dimensions, weighs 1.1 kilograms and is backed by a 7700mAh battery that provides up to 10 hours of battery life. The slate comes with a year free of Microsoft Office 365 and has two rear located Dual speakers.
