Along with the Canvas Fire 4G+, Micromax has also announced the Micromax Canvas Mega and Micromax Canvas Mega 4G smartphones. Both devices are available for a price tag of Rs 7999 (US$ 120) and Rs 10999 (US$ 165) respectively.
Starting with the Micromax Canvas Mega E353, it sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is available in Blue colour option. It is powered by an Octa-core Mediatek MT6592M processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Mali 450 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space.
The rest of the Dual SIM enabled Canvas Mega E353 specs includes – 13MP AF camera with LED flash, front-facing 5MP camera, 3G, microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It measures 154 x 78.7 x 8.9mm in dimensions and is backed by a 2820mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Mega 4G Q417 is next, which should naturally be the 4G version of the Canvas Mega also comes with some changes in specs. The device is now powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU paired along with 3GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and is a backed by a 2500mAh battery. The rest are similar.
