The Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 E311 is the latest smartphone in the Canvas Series of devices from the company’s portfolio. It is cuRrently available on Infibeam in India for INR 10,199 (which seems to be a promo price for now). Grey is the only available colour option.
The Canvas Nitro 2 E311 seems to be a refreshed version of the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 smartphone, with the difference coming in the aspect of the processor and the battery is slightly improved to 2400mAh.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro 2 E311 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, a pixel density of 294ppi and an oleophobic coating to prevent the screen from fingerprints. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali 450 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB space of internal storage onboard for media and files and for those who need more there is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
The main camera is a 13MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera. It supports Dual SIM slots, comes with FM Radio and supports GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity options. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 2400mAh battery.
