Today, Micromax has announced a new Android 4.4 kitkat smartphone in the Canvas series with the Canvas Nitro A310. The device sports a faux leather like back and features different software features such as Trending apps widget, Smart Alerts, Blinkscreen, Smart Gestures and more.

The Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 features a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display with oleophobic coating. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (upgradeable via microSD card). On the rear is a 13MP rear autofocus camera and a front facing fixed focus 5MP camera.
Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G, EDGE/GPRS, FM Radio, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. The device is powered by a 2500mAh battery which is tipped to provide about 10 hours of talktime and 320hours of standby time.
