Indian brand, Micromax has launched a camera centric smartphone – the Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens Q345. The smartphone comes with a 0.4 X Wide-angle lens to capture images and video in wide-angle; this can be clipped on the front and rear facing cameras for usage.
Moving to the rest of the specs, the Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Handling tasks on the device is 1GB of RAM and there is a 8GB space of internal storage with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. $
Talking about the cameras, the rear camera is a 8MP camera with Sony Sensor and LED flash while the front camera is a 5MP snapper with OmniVision sensor. Like most Micromax smartphones – it also has different camera centric features such as eye enlargement, Skin smoothening, beauty mode and more.
Connectivity options on the Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 includes – micro USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and 3G HSPA+. The device supports Dual SIM functionality, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2800mAh battery.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens is available for Rs 8,299 ($130) in White with Champagne and Moondust Gray colour options. Micromax has also collaborated with Vodafone to give those who purchase the device 500MB of free 3G data for 2 months.
