Micromax has added a new budget 4G smartphone to the Micromax Canvas Xpress Series – the Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413. The Indian based company has teamed up with Flipkart to sell the device and henceforth, all future Canvas Xpress device will be exclusive to the e-commerce platform.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, the Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735P processor clocked at 1.0GHz with Mali T720 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM and built-in 16GB storage space.
In the photography department, there is a 8-Megapixels rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-Megapixels camera for selfies as well as video chats. Connectivity options on the Canvas Xpress 4G – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE/3G.
As the name suggests, there is support for 4G connectivity which is compatible with both the TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz) and FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) network bands for India. The Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G has Dual SIM slots, a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB) and is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
Rounding off with the pricing, the Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Q413 costs Rs 6599 (approx. $100) in Blue colour option and as mentioned earlier, exclusive to Flipkart. Airtel customers can enjoy the Double Data offer for 6 months.
