Micromax has finally joined the dual camera wave with the launch of the Micromax Evok Dual Note. The new Evok series smartphone is equipped with a primary 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor paired with a secondary 5MP camera for capturing depth information.
Donning a full metal body build, the Micromax Evok Dual Note features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, fingerprint sensor (front home button), USB Type-C with OTG, front facing 5MP camera with soft LED flash and banks on a lasting 3,000mAh battery, which is expected to offer up to 260 hours of standby time and up to 24 hours of music playback time.
On the inside, the device boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS and relies on an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Mali-T860 GPU. It packs either 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD.
The Micromax Evok Dual Note supports 4G LTE networks and will go on sale exclusively through Flipkart starting August 22nd. Pricing starts at Rs. 9999 (US$ 156) for the 3GB RAM version while that of the 4GB RAM is yet to be announced. It will arrive in Gold and Prussian Blue. (4GB RAM only).
