Almost a year after the launch of the Canvas Evok, Micromax has announced two new Evok Series smartphones – the Micromax Evok Power and Micromax Evok Note. Both devices are exclusively available via Flipkart in India and share a number of features as well as specs in common.
Both the Micromax Evok Power and Micromax Evok Note feature Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box, 4G Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support, Hybrid Dual SIM slot, front facing 5MP selfie camera and long lasting 4000mAh battery. While the duo have fingerprint sensors; the Power has it own on the rear while the Note has its own on the front home button.
Priced starting at Rs. 6999 (US$ 109), the Evok Power features a 5-inch HD 2.5D Curved Glass display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage space. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and the main camera is a 8MP snapper with LED flash.
On its part, the Evok Note relies on an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali T720 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in expandable storage. It has a bigger 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass, rear 13MP camera with 5P Largan lens and dual-tone LED flash. It costs Rs. 9499 (US$ 147).
