Micromax has launched a new budget smartphone which runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat dubbed the Micromax Unite 2. The device is said to be the world’s first smartphone to feature 21 regional languages which includes English and 20 regional indian languages.
The languages include, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Nepali, Bodo, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Maithili, Manipuri, Sanskrit and Sindhi.

The Micromax Unite 2 features a 4.7-inch (800 x480 pixels) capactive touchscreen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card and 2000mAh battery.
The Micromax Unite 2 is the first micromax device to run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and will get future versions and updates via OTA update option. The device sports a 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP fixed focus front camera.
Connectivity options on the device includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G HSPA+, GPS, Dual Sim support and FM radio. The Unite 2 will come pre-loaded with games and apps such as Kingsoft Office, Reverie phonebook, Marble, Burn The Rope and Toystory Smash It.
The Micromax Unite 2 is expected to take on the Motorola Moto E smartphone which is the current favourite Android budget smartphone in the market.
