After appearing online in some series of leaks; Microsoft has officially announced the Gold Edition of the Lumia 930 and Lumia 830. Both device are treated to an Anodized-Gold colour to give them a premium look.
The Lumia 930 made its appearance in April (still bearing the Nokia Lumia 930) while the Lumia 830 was announced at the IFA 2014 event in August 2015. Both the Lumia 930 Gold and Lumia 830 Gold would be available in Black and White colour options with Golden frames. The devices still has the Nokia branding on them which makes it special.
The Lumia 830 Gold would be available in Febuary in Africa, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific, China and India. The US is however not listed. Pricing would vary according to region and operator.
The Lumia 930 Gold would be available in Black this week and the White Colour option would debut before the end of January. It would be available in Africa, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and China. Pricing would also vary according to operator and region.
Both device maintain their specs, asides the Gold body makeover nothing else pretty much changed. The Lumia 830 Gold features a 5-inch display, quad-core snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, rear 10MP Pureview camera with Carl zeiss optics, 1MP front camera and 2200mAh battery. The Lumia 930 Gold on the other hand features a 5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, 20MP rear Pureview camera, 1.2MP front camera, 4G LTE, 32GB internal storage and a 2420mAh battery.
